Having been together since 2010, first meeting at Sixth Form college, it was inevitable that a proposal was long overdue - mainly due to Matt's permanent student status (now over!)

In Summer 2016 Matt had the ring made for Anastasia, just a few weeks too late for their holiday to Miami.

8 months, 6000 miles and 4 flights later we were on holiday in Thailand and after a busy time exploring Bangkok and Chiang Mai we had a week of total relaxation and luxury in Krabi. On the 12th of April after a few Gins for courage, we went for a romantic walk on the beach where Matt stopped, fumbled in the bag, got down on one knee

AND ANASTASIA SAID "YES!"
